Just across the Bucks border in Hemel Hempstead, Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following an arson.
On Thursday 3 November, Police were called at 10pm by the fire and rescue service who were dealing with two car fires at an address in Roughdown Avenue.
Both vehicles were destroyed by fire and the incident is being treated as arson and an investigation has been launched.
Detective Sergeant John Prendergast, from the Hemel Hempstead Local Crime Unit, said: “Thankfully no one was injured but this reckless behaviour could have had a very different outcome.
“Two offenders were seen in dark clothing setting the vehicles alight, with no known reason for them to be targeted, so it is obviously quite a concerning incident.
“I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to make contact with us. Were you in the area? Did you see something unusual? If you have any suspicions at all, please come forward as it could be vital to our investigation.
“If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle, please check it and get in touch if you spot something suspicious. We’d also encourage people to check their CCTV or doorbell cameras.”
