Since the launch of the scheme, Aylesbury Town Council have helped save 4.5 tonnes of used coffee grounds from ending up in the landfill, the town council shared on social media.
Used coffee grounds are free to collect from participating local businesses. You can check out the full list of locations and how the scheme works on the Town Council's website (external site)
If you are a local café or business that generates used coffee grounds and want to get involved in the scheme, you can contact diane.harrison@aylesburytowncouncil.gov.uk to learn about how to get involved.
