Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Countess Howe said:
“I have great admiration for the six businesses in Buckinghamshire which have been selected to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise this year. The additional challenges of Covid-19 and Brexit cannot have made operations easy, so this achievement is even more remarkable. The Queen’s Awards differ from personal honours such as OBEs and MBEs, since they are given to an industrial or business unit as a whole and recognize management and employees working as a team. A Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a whole company success, and the businesses can feel justifiably proud of their achievement. Based as they are in the entrepreneurial heart of Britain, it is exciting to acknowledge the contribution which they have made to the prosperity of the county. My congratulations go to all six companies, and I look forward to visiting each of them in due course to make the presentations on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen”
