Waddesdon Manor is playing host to a large outdoor art installation this month in honour of our fallen soldiers.
The Remembrance project, called ‘Standing with Giants’ includes 300 soldier silhouettes and 225 poppy wreaths spanning 400 metres in width on display in the gardens.
It is non-profit venture raising money for NHS Charities Together and Royal British Legion.
Visitors can walk freely amongst the installations which are designed not only to look and feel impressively large, but also as a safe space where people can come and reflect.
Dan Barton, founder of Standing with Giants, said: "The outpouring of emotion we've witnessed, from grief, to stunned silence, to amazement, has been incredibly overwhelming,”
Standing with Giants is on display now at Waddesdon House and Gardens and will be there until 21st November. Remembrance Sunday is on 14th November this year.
