At around 7.25pm on Thursday (20/1) a silver Nissan Juke, a white Ford Transit van and a blue BMW X5 were involved in a collision on Hatters Lane, near to the Totteridge Road roundabout.
The driver of the Nissan Juke, a woman in her twenties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains. The passenger of the car, a girl was also taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
The driver of the BMW X5 did not stop at the scene.
Investigating officer, PC Dawn Seston, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:
“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“I’d also ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area at the time this happened to please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could help with the investigation.
