Police have one person in custody following reports from rural village residents of theft or attempted theft from their vehicles overnight from 10th to 12th January
To help with their ongoing investigations they are still asking locals to speak on the phone number 101 if they are aware of or have CCTV of any incidents.
Alternatively if you see a crime being committed remember to call 999.
They also thanked members of the public for submitting online reports, but did add there may sometimes be a delay in processing them.
