Amersham based Ed Wainwright and his friend Ollie Choules ran from Marylebone to the bar at Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The pair were running in support of Ed’s cousins, Max and Sam Goodwyn who have Becker Muscular Distophy.
Ed told us how the support from his cousins spurred him on.
"Their story has been a contact source of strength for Ollie and I, sometimes even in the snow! Sam was able to join us on the start line and the finish line on the Saturday, which really reminded us of why we are doing it and why we are raising money for this charity."
The pair raised over £2000 for the charity, but told us that next weekend they will be taking a well deserved beer break!
