Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust have reassured residents in Bucks that it will continue to run emergency and urgent services on hospital sites on the additional bank holiday that has been declared for Monday 19 September for the Queen’s funeral.
Their district nurses will continue to provide their normal service looking after people in their own homes and all maternity services will run as usual.
Most planned operations and outpatient appointments booked for next Monday (19 September) will be rescheduled.
