Opening today (30/9), the family run business will not only sell sensory toys and equipment, but also provide a hub for families to share their experiences as well as offering a place for children with additional needs to relax.
Chris and Marcia Duthie have been inspired by their son, Jack, who has a variety of additional needs. They hope the shop will not only help parents have better access to toys, but also become a hub for families to support each other. Marcia told Bucks Radio how the idea started;
Marcia also says they struggled to find anywhere to physically buy toys for their son;

It's not just a business, the couple also want to create a facility for families who are shopping in Aylesbury:
The Sensory Room Section features Bubble tubes, Liquid floor mats, Dark Den area, Bubble Wall, Weighted Blankets, Padded Wall Art, LED Tunnels, Chews, Fibre Optic Shower, Early Years & Educational Resources and all things light up including a giant cushion!

Sensory Toys 4 U is on Cambridge Street in Aylesbury, and will open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday.
