An elderly driver has surrendered his licence after driving down the wrong way of the M40.
Officers from the Thames Valley South Bucks base at Amersham attended the incident.
The driver was spotted driving down the off slip at M40 Handycross and reportedly seen in Lane 2 before pulling over onto the hard shoulder.
The driver surrendered his licence after failing an eyesight test,
The vehicle was recovered.
