It's set to be even busier on roads around Aylesbury this week, and it's not just due to the extra traffic from the schools going back.
Broughton Lane will be closed until Friday September 27th for works including kerb repairs, ditch clearance, and gully cleansing. For the first 2 weeks, it will be closed from 930am to 3:30pm, with a 24/7 closure in place on week 3.
Aston Clinton Road (A41) at its junction for Aston Reach will only be closed for the first week of works in Broughton Lane from 8pm to 5 AM. This will mean that access for residents in Aston Reach will always be possible.
Then, from Saturday (7/9/24), the A4010 Risborough Road will be closed for 9 day. It's for HS2 work at the temporary bridge just beyond the Bucks Goat Centre, although access for residents and business will be maintained during the closure.
However, there is some good news, with both the Oxford Road and Park Street now open.
