A man first arrested in High Wycombe in January 2020 has been sentenced to four years in prison for dealing cocaine he was importing from the Caribbean.
Jordan Mesmain, aged 28, from London, pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely cocaine, in a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday 23rd February.
At just before 4.20pm on 23rd January 2020, officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Priory Road in High Wycombe, which was then driven off before two men ran from the vehicle.
Mesmain was detained nearby and was arrested for drug offences.
Following a subsequent search of a property, officers located quantities of heroin and crack cocaine, with a street value of £2,700.
Mesmain’s phone was downloaded as a part of the investigation, and this revealed compelling and detailed evidence that he was importing cocaine from the Caribbean.
Mesmain was charged on 11th November 2021.
Investigating officer PC John Watson of the Wycombe Stronghold team, said: “Thames Valley Police will never tolerate drug dealing in our communities and I hope that this conviction and sentence sends a clear message to anybody involved in organised crime in High Wycombe that we will robustly target you and bring you to justice.
“Mesmain was involved in the importation of class A drugs into this country, and this sentence reflects the seriousness of his offending.

“County lines drug dealers target the most vulnerable in our society and we remain absolutely resolute in our determination to remove them, and their drugs, from our communities and protect victims.
