Officers were called to Buckingham Street this morning (19/8)
Police say they were called to Buckingham Street at just before 4.15am after reports of an assault, with a man in his forties taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after sustaining stab wounds.
A 26-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in police custody.
A cordon was put in place on the road this morning, which has now been lifted.
