Thames Valley Police is releasing an image of a man officers wish to speak to as they believe may have vital information about a non-recent rape and sexual assault in High Wycombe.
In 2014 or 2015, an offender raped and sexually assaulted a then-teenage girl in a room in the Travelodge on Octagon Parade.
The victim reported the offences to police in June last year and an investigation has been ongoing.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sarah Simpson said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch as I believe he may have vital information about this rape and sexual assault.
“If you are the man pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
“Anyone who can help us should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240297993.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
