Legal proceedings are underway against an illegal encampment on Chesham Moor.
Chesham Town Council, together with Buckinghamshire Council are taking the action over five caravans parked at the site.
In a statement the town authority says it's treating the matter as a 'top priority' and that they anticipate action will be taken swiftly.
Although it's not clear when they will be moved, the situation is being regularly monitored by staff from both councils.
