The Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury are looking for donations of old DVD boxsets and films for their four mental health wards.
They have invested in 30 TVs for their ‘Small Screen, Big Entertainment’ project, which lets their patients relax in their rooms and settle down to watch a movie.
Now they need help in creating a library of suitable DVDs that the patients can choose from.
Every DVD will need to have a British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) rating of U, PG, 12A, 12, 15 or 18, but please no horror or graphic scenes of violence.
Each one will be checked by Oxford Health volunteers for suitability and cleaned before being allowed to be loaned out.
They have set up a donation box at the Whiteleaf Centre reception in Bierton Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1EG
Or alternatively please send to: Oxford Health Charity, Warneford Hospital, Warneford Lane, Headington, Oxford, OX3 7JX.
