Celebrating 40 years of care and community support, the Chilterns Neuro Centre launches £10,000 fundraising drive.
This year, the Chilterns Neuro Centre proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary—four decades of providing expert care, rehabilitation, and a welcoming community for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and the effects of stroke.
Founded in 1985, the charity has grown into a lifeline for hundreds across the region, offering a holistic approach to neurological care through physiotherapy, counselling, social connection, and support services for both patients and their families

.
But even as the Centre looks back on its remarkable journey, its focus is firmly on the road ahead. To help secure its future and continue expanding its services, the charity has launched the 40th Anniversary Summer Appeal, aiming to raise £10,000.
“We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come,” said a spokesperson for the Centre. “But the need for our services is greater than ever, and we’re asking our community to help us build for the next 40 years.”
To thank supporters, the Centre is offering a limited-edition 'beacon' badge to anyone who donates to the appeal—a symbol of hope and resilience, reflecting the charity’s mission to be a guiding light for those navigating neurological conditions.
