There are calls for more health services to be provided in Leighton Buzzard.
It comes as 15,000 new people have moved into the town over the past 20 years.
South West Bedfordshire MP Andrew Selous said the current facilities can't meet the demand.
It comes plans for a health hub and a fourth GP practice for the town were dropped last month.
The Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Board says it's seeking additional GPS but there is a national shortage.
