Buckinghamshire Mind, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council, is offering fully funded Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Suicide First Aid training to community, charity or public sector employees and volunteers in Buckinghamshire who work to support people in the community.
Places are available for the courses running in July and September. The courses won’t teach you to be a therapist, but they will give you the skills & confidence to be the first line of support for adults or young people experiencing poor mental health or thoughts of suicide. Learn how to recognise, listen, reassure & respond whilst keeping yourself safe.
Courses dates and times include:
Adult Mental Health First Aid – 8th & 9th July Online or 17th & 18th September in High Wycombe
Adult Mental Health Aware – 10th September Online
Youth Mental Health Aware – 3rd July in High Wycombe
Adult Suicide First Aid – 11th September Online
Youth Suicide First Aid – 25th September Online
