This Sunday (15/5) a charity football day will be taking place at Wycombe Wanders ground Adams Park, raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Justin Mears from Green Machine FC, told us how the team started:
The day will be jam packed, with three football matches taking place:
As well as raising vital funds for Cancer, the football team is so important for the players' mental health, as every player in the team has either lost someone or knows someone who has been affected by Cancer. It allows them to talk with each other and share stories on and off the pitch.
The day will be from 10am - 9pm on Sunday 15th May, with tickets available on the door at Adams Park, HP12 4HJ.
There will be live music a raffle with some really great prizes, from Kids Toys to Signed memorabilia and even a holiday which has all been donated.
