Buckingham’s Spring Green Fair this weekend

On Sunday 24th April from 10am and 2pm, residents will be able to visit a range of stalls sharing information on community projects, environmental campaigns, and sustainable business innovations.

The fair is aimed at those who want to help their local environment and lower their carbon footprint, but there will also be something for everyone, like a practical craft weaving demonstration, children’s activities, and ice cream, coffee and cake!

Cllr Robin Stuchbury, Chairman of the Town Centre & Events Committee said

“This year, in line with the Town Council’s aims from the Town Meeting we will be celebrating the environment.

Many participants are supporting the event. Please join us and be part of the future and hopefully together we will find some solutions to improve our local environment.”

Bucks Community Energy will be there to talk to you about renewable energy, and Buckingham Town Council will have information on the Town Council’s Climate Emergency plan.

Other stall holders include Recycle4Bucks, Green Futures, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust, Buckingham, Winslow District Scouts, Planet Refill, El Finca Monte, Buckingham Fairtrade, Natalie Jane Candles, Buckingham Canal Society.
