Buckingham MP Greg Smith met with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury Andrew Griffith MP to ask for his help in securing the Banking Hub for the town of Buckingham .
Greg Smith MP sat down with the Economic Secretary to the Treasury - Andrew Griffith MP - to ask for his help in securing the Banking Hub for the town of Buckingham which was promised following the departure of Lloyds Bank last year. He has assured him he will take this up with officials.
They also discussed the availability of ATMs in the constituency. Across the 335 square miles of the Buckingham constituency, there are only 33 cash machines left that do not charge people to take out their own money. They discussed ways the government are working with ATM providers to ensure free access to cash can continue.
