A historic World War Two incendiary discovered at a property in Ingram Avenue, Aylesbury, at around 1.25pm yesterday.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a historic World War Two incendiary discovered at a property in Ingram Avenue, Aylesbury, at around 1.25pm yesterday (25/7).
“No evacuation was necessary and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team carried out a controlled explosion on the item in Bedgrove Park at around 6.05pm.”
Police were on scene last night around 6pm at Bedgrove Park dealing with an Historic WW2 Incendiary.
They were working along side EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) to dispose of it.
Police asked people to avoid the area.... saying there was no danger or risk to any member of the public. Providing they stay clear of the park.
