The funeral of John Motson has taken place in Buckinghamshire.
The football commentator was laid to rest at Crownhill Crematorium on Friday.
The 73-year-old who lived in Little Brickhill passed away at the age of 77 last month.
His BBC career spanned five decades from 1971, before he finally stepped down in 2017.
Barbara Slater, Director of BBC Sport said: “John Motson was a giant of broadcasting with a career spanning over 50 years and his distinctive voice has gone hand in glove with so many great footballing moments. Whoever your team might be, whoever you support - there’ll be a special memory and commentary line to go with it. He had a passion for the game and his enthusiasm behind the microphone captured the experience and excitement felt by fans in the stands, all delivered with his unique style. Our condolences and thoughts are with his family.”
