A man has been jailed for drug offences in Aylesbury.
James House, aged 41, of Grenadier Path, Aylesbury was sentenced to 18 months in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday (11/9).
He previously pleaded guilty to one count each of concern in the supply of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis, possession with intent to supply a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis and acquisition, use and possession of criminal property at the same court on Thursday 6 June, this year.
House was also issued a £187 surcharge, forfeiture of drugs for destruction and forfeiture of £9,985 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
On Thursday 7 March 2024, House was stopped by the Thames Valley Police Proactive Roads Policing Unit on Bicester Road in Aylesbury.
He was found in possession of £1,875 in cash and a pot containing cannabis bud.
In his car, officers found three other containers containing cannabis bud.
He was arrested on the same day and charged the next day.
A further search at a related address found large quantities of cannabis bud and £9,985 in cash.
The total value of drugs seized in the investigation is around £28,925.
Officers found House had been supplying drugs since November 2022.
Investigating officer PC Levi Fensom, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “This investigation demonstrates that Thames Valley Police is proactive in targeting and prosecuting offenders.
“Our activity aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs will be both overt and covert.
