Cllr Anders Christensen has been elected as Aylesbury Town Mayor.
It was at the Aylesbury Town Council meeting on Thursday 20 May at Quarrendon and Meadowcroft Community Centre.
This was the first in-person meeting since the pandemic began and was the first meeting of the newly elected Council.
Cllr Anders Christensen who moved here a little over 20 years ago, expressed his delight and honour to represent Aylesbury Town.
He has said:
“As we, hopefully, come out of lockdown, I hope to be able to host the town’s great public events in the coming year and help promote the valuable work of local charities.”
Cllr Tim Dixon has been elected as Deputy Town Mayor and Cllr Richard Lloyd has been elected as Leader of the Council.
