Aylesbury kickboxer Brandon Cook has been crowned the new WKA Professional Kickboxing World Champion after a career-defining victory at the weekend.
Cook claimed the prestigious world title by defeating reigning WAKO Pro World Champion Gary McDonnell in a high-profile contest for the vacant WKA Professional Kickboxing World Championship.
The fight had been widely billed as one of the biggest challenges of Cook's career, attracting significant support from fans, friends and the wider kickboxing community. In the build-up to the bout, supporters were urged to get behind the Pegasus Gym fighter as he prepared to face one of the sport's most accomplished champions.
