Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in High Wycombe.
The incident occurred at around 4pm on Friday (15/11), at the bridge over the railway, behind the park on Quebec Road.
The victim, a boy in his teens, was walking along with his friend when they were stopped by a group of ten males on the bridge. The victim was grabbed and had his bag taken from him. Whilst some males searched his bag, the others assaulted him whilst he was on the floor leaving him with bruises and cuts on his upper body. Nothing was stolen in the incident.
The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
The offenders were wearing dark clothing with hoods up and face coverings including snoods and balaclavas.
