Doc-works provide electronic services to a client base spread across various sectors which include the Emergency and Postal Services. Customers report issues to the Support Team via email and telephone, and given the nature of the customer’s businesses, these are often time-critical. Doc-works operate the Support Desk using Manage Engine Service Desk along with an accredited IS27001 Business Management System.
This Support role will suit someone who has an understanding in applications support including project work, development, documentation and unit testing.
Carry out daily checks and tasks to ensure all systems and applications are operating correctly.
Manage issues logged on the Service Desk and ensure they are resolved to the required SLA's.
Triage issues raised and ensure they are allocated to the correct team members when necessary.
Escalate any risks or issues around these tasks to the relevant team member.
Ensure all Support processes and procedures are followed as set out in ISO27001.
Key Skills (preferred but not essential)
Software Development Lifecycle principles
Full training will be given on in-house systems.
Be efficient, organised and able to work accurately to tight deadlines.
Demonstrate the ability to work on more than one issue at any given time.
Have good communication skills - both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a team whilst also being able to work on one’s own.
Depending on experience, this position attracts a salary of £24,000 - £27,000 plus benefits.
Paid Weekend Shifts would also be available if interested.
