Forty talented young performers from Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity’s On Stage production of School of Rock have made it through to the second round of auditions for Britain’s Got Talent.
On Stage raises funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice with theatrical performances by young people from Buckinghamshire.
The group took to the stage at The Oval in London, delivering a high-energy performance from School of Rock, which they had previously performed at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
While they did not progress to the judges’ stage, their enthusiasm, teamwork, and passion for performing were truly inspiring.
Lyn Denham, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, said:
“We are delighted that our incredible performers from across Buckinghamshire represented Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions. Many of the children have personal connections with the Hospice, and together they proudly shared our message about the importance of raising funds for local hospice care.”
The Charity extends thanks to all those young performers, their families, volunteers, and staff who supported the project and made the audition day a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The charity’s next On Stage performance is Frozen Jr, which is taking place on Sunday 21st December. Find out more, including how to buy tickets, here https://fnhospice.org.uk/frozenjr (external site).
