A former Thames Valley Police station could be demolished.
The applicant wants to knock down the five buildings on the former Bletchley police station site, with work expected to last from November to January.
Milton Keynes City Council owns the old police station and the neighbouring former Bletchley Fire Station, both located next to Bletchley train station.
The Council wants to redevelop the sites for high-density housing, a hotel, café, restaurant, or local retail uses after it was awarded £22.7 million by the Government’s Town Deal.
The demolition plan for the former police station says that asbestos at the site will be carefully removed, fully intact if possible and with water sprayed onto fibres where appropriate.
