The Aylesbury Vale Policing area has a new Deputy Commander.
This morning C/Insp Webb has started as our new Deputy Commander for the Aylesbury Vale area.
Chief Inspector Robb Webb has been with Thames Valley police for 25 years, working predominantly across Berkshire and most recently in High Wycombe as the lead for problem solving and safeguarding.
He has said:
“I am pleased to be joining the team here in Aylesbury Vale where excellent work is already taking place and look forward to getting to know members of the community within Aylesbury as well as the surrounding towns and villages.
“From my most recent role in problem solving, I know that many problems can’t be solved by police alone and have seen first-hand the benefits of working with communities as well as with local organisations to tackle an issue at its source or to prevent crime, from anti-social behaviour through to domestic abuse.
“Those plaguing our communities with drugs and violence can expect to receive robust action when they least expect it. It’s important to me that we safeguard and protect those who are exploited by these organised criminals and I will ensure that we continue to work in partnership to pursue offenders and prevent further harm.”
