Last week a 22 year old man was prosecuted for 3 repeat offences of fly tipping in Ashridge.
Alex Carl Clewett of Worthington Road in Dunstable pleaded guilty to the three offences that occurred on the National Trust land of Dockey Wood.
After initially denying the charge, Clewett changed his plea as officers were able to examine the waste dumped and trace the offences back to Clewett and showed him camera survilence evidence of him caught in the act.
In sentencing the judge ordered Clewett to pay the full £888 clearance costs to the National Trust and a further £500 in costs to Buckinghamshire Council. Clewett was also sentenced to three consecutive 28-day prison terms, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work..
