A major police operation took place in Aylesbury today (15/02). There was a heavy police presence in the Hastoe Park area off Elmhurst ring road, which resulted in delays on the roads around town.
Thames Valley Police released the following at 2pm (15th Feb):
"The fear for welfare incident in Hastoe Park, Aylesbury, has now been resolved and officers will shortly be leaving the scene. We'd like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding while the incident was ongoing."
Bucks Radio had earlier received the following statement from Thames Valley Police:
"It was a fear for welfare incident for a man which has now been resolved. We are not planning any further updates, and there was no risk to the wider community."
The definition of 'a fear for welfare incident':
