A teenage girl remains in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car as she walked across a zebra crossing in Aylesbury on Christmas Eve.
At around 4.36pm on Friday 24th December, a Mercedes E250 was travelling along Oakfield Road, when it hit the girl on the crossing outside Oakfield Surgery.
She was rushed to the John Radcliffe hospital with serious injuries, where she remains.
Investigating officer, PC Lewis Harratt based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this collision, if you have dash-cam and were in or around the area at the time, please take a look and share anything significant with us.

Thames Valley Police has confirmed to Bucks Radio that the driver of the Mercedes did stop at the scene.
