That’s the message from organisers of Buckingham in Bloom this year, who are now looking for entries from gardeners of all abilities across the town.
The gardeners of Buckingham are getting a chance to shine once again.
From pots to wild gardens, there’s a chance for anyone to enter the Buckingham in Bloom competition this year.
Organisers say every entry means a greener environment for the town.
Open to all residents of Buckingham, this fun and free to enter competition has three categories front garden, hanging baskets/containers and new this year Wildlife Garden.
The gardens and baskets/containers must be visible from the kerbside.
Judging will take place mid July. The Judges will be looking for colour, variety of plants, overall design, whether it attracts insects and other wildlife, garden maintenance and planting schemes which achieve sustainability.
Chairman of the Town Centre & Events Committee, Robin Stuchbury said:
“Be involved for the bees! Improve your garden and gain an opportunity to win this year’s Buckingham in Bloom contest.
"Every entry contributes to a greener more pleasant environment for not only yourselves but the whole community.”
Entry forms can be downloaded from the Town Council website www.buckingham-tc.gov.uk or picked up from the Tourist Information Centre and the Buckingham Library Closing date is Friday 1st July.
