Thames Valley Police and Bucks Fire and Rescue were called out this morning
Emergency services responded to a fire in a store area in Jansel Square in Aylesbury this morning.
Nine appliances and crews and six officers were on the scene at the height of the fire.
Smoke and fire was coming from the four-storey building when they arrived.
The ground floor was used for retail purposes and there are flats occupying the three floors above.
Bucks Fire and Rescue say the fire was in the external storeroom on the ground floor.
The flats and nearby residential buildings were evacuated.
The store was 100-percent damaged by the fire, with the flats also suffering external damage.
Thames Valley Police also attended the scene.
