Thames Valley Police is releasing an image of someone officers would like to speak to following an assault in Chalfont St Peter.
The incident occurred at around 4.45pm on Thursday 19 September, earlier this year, in M&S in High Street.
A man in his forties was struck on the back of the head with a bag of onions.
Investigating officer PC Ion Stratu, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the individual in the image as they may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries.
“Additionally we ask anyone with mobile phone footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.
