Bucks charity help nearby hospitals with £20,000 donation

Risk Management Security Services have donated £20,000 to Oxford Hospitals Charity, to benefit the Oxford Children’s Hospital and Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Risk Management Security Services have donated £20,000 to Oxford Hospitals Charity, to benefit the Oxford Children’s Hospital and Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

This is the second year running that the Bucks-based company has generously supported the charity.

Managing Director, Graham Tilly explains: ‘We are delighted to be able to make such a significant donation once again this year. Oxford Hospitals Charity is very close to the hearts of our team as their hospitals have provided outstanding care for our Chairman, John, and my granddaughter ‘Little’ Logan, who was born with a rare form of cancer.’

‘Both John and three-year-old Logan have been provided with amazing medical care and support over recent years, so we are thrilled to be able put something back to help other patients.

‘£10,000 will be directed to support the Oxford Heart Centre and a further £10,000 to support the Oxford Children’s Hospital, including the very special Kamran’s Ward which gives dedicated care to children with cancer.

‘Oxford is the largest area of operation for our company so we are delighted to give back to this wonderful community – so many of whom will regularly rely on the support of their local hospitals.

‘And it was lovely to be able to meet the charity team again, presenting our cheque in the sunshine, and to hear how much of a difference donations like ours make to patients and staff in the hospitals.

‘We are all sincerely grateful for the incredible skill and dedication that has been afforded to us by the many hospital staff – we take our hats off to you all!’
