Officers were deployed in the area of Rowland Way in Aylesbury Vale following the discovery of a suspected explosive device.
Thankfully, they have reported that the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) responded to the call within an hour, and after a thorough assessment they have deemed the item to be non-explosive and safe.
The Police extended thanks to all local residents who vacated their properties at their request.
