It comes after founder of our litter picking heroes Richard Walker documented various bits of rubbish just a few feet away from a perfectly good bin.
He even found a used full nappy in the middle of Bedgrove Park!
Richard shared this with us:
"I have people who come up to me telling me that more bins are needed to control the litter problem that exists in this county. What is the point of more bins, if people are unable to use the bins that are already there!
Its laziness and the people that do this just don't care about the community or the environment. It such a simple thing to do to put your rubbish into a bin, they wouldn't leave rubbish on their living room floor so why is our parks and streets any different??
Please use the bin correctly or better still is to take home and recycle"
