Students from Aylesbury Grammar School have claimed top honours at a national chess tournament hosted at Eton College.
Competing against teams from 33 schools, the Aylesbury Grammar A team finished first overall after five fast-paced rounds.
Staff praised the players’ consistency and teamwork on a highly competitive day.
