Adele and Afzaal lost their best friend in October 2020 to knife crime in Aylesbury, that's what led them to create the 'In this Together' Campaign.
The pair told us a little bit about the campaign.
Adele said: "We started in this together to reduce knife crime and youth violence within our community."
Afzaal added, "We are both very passionate about what we do, and coming from different backgrounds and perspectives we realised this was our opportunity to try and make a positive impact."
Afzaal told us how they have managed to get local organisations on board too:
"Since we started this we have been working alongside numerous organisations, such as TVP and Bucks Council, to put strategies in place to make Aylesbury safer."
On 8th July, In This Together worked alongside TVP, Cllr Waheed (Southcourt) and Southcourt Baptist Church in succeeding in placing Thames Valleys first amnesty knife and sharps bin outside Southcourt Baptist Church.
This has been a huge success as numerous knives have been disposed of through the amnesty bin.
