Police are appealing for witnesses following a public order incident in High Wycombe.
At approximately 5pm on Saturday (5/10) on the High Street, a group of children were seen littering and shouting at council workers who were cleaning the streets. A street seller then intervened and was further threatened by the children.
The offenders are described as a group of around 6 children, both boys and girls, aged between 12 and 17-years-old. They were seen to be wearing all black clothing. One individual is described as a 12-year-old boy of a mixed heritage, with short black hair, wearing a black sweatshirt with white writing on the front, black tracksuit trousers and black shoes.
Investigating officer PC Oliver Bolton, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.
“We are asking anyone with information to please call 101 quoting reference 43240479334.
“Additionally we are ask anyone with mobile footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.
“If you do not wish to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
