Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with a dangerous dog incident that took place in Long Crendon.
The incident occurred at around 4.26pm on Friday, 9 January, when a man walking two dogs, believed to be of a similar breed to Pointers, was seen in fields next to Harroell. Both dogs were reportedly off their leads when one of them killed a deer.
According to police, the man was then seen punishing the dog by pushing its head into the ground. Officers confirmed that no injuries were observed on the dog.
A witness who attempted to get help for the deer reported that the owner left the area with the dogs before assistance arrived.

Investigating officer PC Taylor Woolley, of the Rural Crime Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the person in this image to please come forward as they may have vital information to assist us with our investigation.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting crime reference number 43260044566.”
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who recognises the individual to come forward as enquiries continue.
