National deaf charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is appealing for dog lovers in Buckingham to become volunteer puppy trainers, after expanding its life-changing puppy training programme into the town.

Sarah Green, MP for Chesham and Amersham, has welcomed reports that OFWAT, the official regulator of the water industry in England and Wales, is set to be scrapped by the Government on Monday.

From Monday 21 July, for approximately 10 weeks, SGN will be replacing a section of the gas main on the A418 Aylesbury Road between Wing and Wingrave.

This summer, HS2 will be carrying out works to enable the installation of the low permeability wall across the temporary diversion of Nash Lee Road.

Unfortunately, due to some structural damage to a property on the High street, the foot path between Alexander and Co estate agents and Jojo's is closed. Subsequently the parking area is also cordoned off.

HS2 has announced that the temporary concrete barriers installed at the Meadoway junction will be removed ion Saturday 26th July. To safely complete the work, a one-day closure of the A418 Oxford Road will be required.
