Next week, we've got family tickets to Odds Farm Park up grabs - just in time for their rootin’ tootin’ hoedown this May Half Term!

The nine day bonanza kicks off on Saturday 23 May and runs until Sunday 31^st May.

Headlining the event with their Hoedown Showdown performance will be entertainers Outlaw Oddsocks and Stocking Foot Sal as the desperadoes enter into a line dancing duel to find out who the best barn dancer in Buckinghamshire is.

Little wranglers will come face to face with many of the rare breeds that the livestock team at Odds is working hard to conserve. As one of only 23 rare breed farm parks in the UK there are 16 priority and at-risk animals available for visitors to meet including an Exmoor Pony which is one of the oldest and rarest pony breeds in the UK.

As part of the frontier fun guests will also be able to enjoy crafts from the wild west including the chance to decorate a cowboy hat headband and themed hanging decoration as well as making their own county sheriff’s badge. There will also be welly wanging and traditional outdoor games on the farm for young sheriffs and their families to enjoy.

Sheep shearing demonstrations return to the farm everyday in half term as the resident flock lose their woolly coats in readiness for the warmer weather.

In addition to a packed programme of half term entertainment there is also plenty of weather-proof fun at Odds Farm Park in the indoor soft play barn, while outside there is the outdoor adventure play, Marmalade’s Mini Golf course, Tractor and Trailer ride, H₂Odds water play area and Marmalade’s Mini Rovers.

Award-winning Odds Farm Park is set in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside and located just minutes from Junction 2 of the M40, near Beaconsfield.  Opening times are from 10.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Sunday. Half Term Hoedown at Odds Farm Park takes place from Saturday 23 May – Sunday 31^st May 2026. Prices start at £19.95 for prebooked day tickets online. Children under 12 months are free of charge. It is not essential to pre-book and walk-up admissions are always welcome.
