Legacy Funeral Services are hoping to help people in their grief by suggesting they write a letter to their loved one
Legacy Funeral Services Ltd have placed a white letter box in their office for people to use - but its not your typical mail box.
They are looking to help people grieving by inviting them to write to their loved one who has passed away.
James Burrett, Director and Legacy Funeral Services Ltd explains the inspiration and their hopes for the scheme:
"A nine year old girl called Matilda in Nottingham was in the press recently as she organised with her local Cemetery to have a post box installed so that she could write a letter to her deceased family members.
"We felt this was such a lovely idea, and nothing like this was available locally. Writing letters can be a good way for Children and Adults alike to process grief, so we have placed our post box in the reception area of our Aylesbury office, which is located at 46 Buckingham Street, Aylesbury.
"It is open for all of the community to use. If anyone is unable to pop in personally, we are happy to post something on their behalf. "
