The National Trust property will open its doors to prospective volunteers on on Friday 25 February 2022 (10am–3pm).
This will be the first time since the pandemic that Waddesdon has hosted this event, and the Open Day will offer those interested the chance to speak to staff and existing volunteers about what it is like to be part of the team.
Waddesdon will be looking for individuals to fill the roles of House Hosts, Grounds Hosts, Garden Guides and Retail Volunteers.
On the day, prospective volunteers will learn more about what the roles involve, and there will also be a chance to explore the Gardens.
From welcoming visitors to getting involved with popular seasonal events throughout the year, volunteers play an integral role in the many different departments at Waddesdon and help to conserve and enhance this special place for everyone to enjoy.
Helen Franklin, Head of Volunteering at Waddesdon, said:
‘Our team of volunteers are vital in supporting Waddesdon in so many different areas, and we appreciate all they do for us. We are thrilled to be recruiting more new volunteers in 2022 in what promises to be an exciting year for us.’
Volunteer Open Day places are limited and by appointment only to manage numbers.
