Citizens Advice Bucks has been awarded a National Lottery Fund for the continuation of its Adviceline, and now need more people to man the lines.
The grant will see the charity scaling up the helpline to help people who need advice, as well as help the charity with digital transformation.
As a result of the cost of living crisis, the charity is seeing a surge in demand for its services.
The charity has committed to expanding its charity helpline by training even more volunteer advisors.
Citizens Advice is holding open days, so volunteers can find out more about what its like to volunteer.
Volunteer Manager, Irina Bondereva, explains:
“Our volunteer open events are a chance to meet our team and have an informal chat about volunteering with us, learn about what it’s like to volunteer with us, and find out if its right for you. We will take you through everything you need to know, and even help you make your application if you’d like to apply”.
